CHIEFS STAY TIGHT-LIPPED ON FUTURES OF TOP TRIO
England Hockey remain tight-lipped over the exclusions of Ashley Jackson, Nick Catlin and Iain Lewers from the centralised programme, despite the key trio still harbouring ambitions to perform on the world stage. Men’s coach Bobby Crutchley will travel to South Africa at the end of the month with a new look squad for Test matches against Germany and nine players in line to make
their international debuts. But an air of mystery still surrounds the omission
of Great Britain’s three leading players, headed by record goal scorer Jackson, who is currently playing with Ranchi Rays in the Hockey India League.
