Marijn Kremers

Born in 1998, a native of Gemert in the Netherlands, Marijn starts racing in the 60 class at 7 years (winning the second absolute race in which he took part) and then competing in the Honda Cadet with 4-stroke engines up to 9 years. His competitive path then inevitably passes - given his provenance - from Rotax between Mini Max and Junior Max to his KF3 debut with the PCR frames used by the AVG team. At the age of 15, the transition to international competitions, always with the AVG team that in the meantime linked up with Birel, and in 2015 the move to KZ, a category that Marijn confessed to us that he loved right away. The first significant results in the gearbox class come in 2017 with a third place at the European Championship and then this year, with the not even unexpected and well-deserved victory of the World Championship in Lonato at the end of an epic fight on the track with Adrien Renaudin.

CLOSE Up
RICCARDO LONGHI
Riccardo Longhi, “Ricky”, is a driver who has always been found ready when needed. As he revealed to us, every race risked being his last and he knew how to make it a virtue. It is true, he has often been unlucky, but his hunger for results has never changed. See Lonato. With time, another beautiful quality in Longhi was also discovered: that of mechanic and coach. Alongside the sparkling Cristian Bertuca, he took an important Top 10 at the Junior World Championship, a category in which Bertuca made his debut.

We were invited to try out the new Birel Art electric karts on the track, proof of how our world is also aligning itself with the trend towards zero emissions: primarily designed for the Rental world, we cannot yet foresee what developments we will find in the Racing sector. The vehicles and the performances reached are top level, a sign there is a considerable potential for growth - even if we are only at the beginning of a path that will take time.

LEGENDARY KART
Vettel's Mythology
In recent months Sebastian Vettel has jumped into the headlines not only for his deeds and vicissitudes with Ferrari in F1, but also for having expressed his point of view regarding karting promotion policies, no longer as favorable as when he raced in karting when most kart drivers could afford to live an important experience with the possibility of aiming high, without having to invest exorbitant amounts.
