As we all well know, at the end of each year one homologation expires and a new one begins. The current system sees the three main elements that make up a kart alternate every three years: frames (with related accessories such as brakes and fairings); engines (here, too, with carburetors, ignitions and exhausts); tires. Each time the homologations apply to one of these three sectors, and they shall be valid for three years until the cycle is completed. Which, if we want, is also well alternated: in 2020, it relates to tires; the next year to the frames developed to make the most of these tires, then the engines to push them as hard as possible, then again the tires to unload the power of the improved engine to the ground, and so on. So far, from this point of view, it has gone fairly well.
