CIRCUIT OF MORAC ADVENTURE PARK IN LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA - 16TH/17TH NOVEMBER 2019
The IAME 2019 racing program in Asia ended with the IAME Asia Final in the picturesque MORAC Adventure Park circuit in Langkawi. The event featured the presence of several European drivers as well as numerous drivers from all over Asia. The former included David Foré, multi-titled Cik Fia world champion, and German Hannes Yanker, OK 2018 European champion. There were drivers from as many as 16 different countries fighting for first place in each category and for the voucher to participate in the IAME International Final 2020 at Le Mans. Race week began with days of practice, as usual, with drivers and their mechanics trying to find the best set-up in the extreme heat. Tropical storms were predicted, and hit the island during race week, but fortunately the races took place in hot and dry conditions.
