We’re reminded not to take running for granted on a regular basis. Or as regularly as we pick up an injury.
Having to miss a race you’d planned to run is disappointing to say the least. Watching your friends carry on running while you stay home doing your rehab exercises and get intimately acquainted with resistance bands can be annoying (I’m big enough to admit I get jealous). But it always serves as a reminder of how much we love, and sometimes need our sport.
