The thought of spending time in a tent, or even a caravan, is about as appealing to me as checking into a foreign jail and sharing a cell with a murderer with a phobia about baths. Okay, I know some people love camping, I know modern caravans are wondrous to behold and I have even heard glamping called civilised, but I remain firmly in avoidance mode.
