1 Suggest some bank holiday activities

Whilst the thought of two extra days off work may sound heavenly, for many it’s accompanied by a slight dread that this means two extra days off school for the kids as well (more, if you consider the fact that the second bank holiday falls in half term). Good timing, then, to come up with some ideas for activities that families can do together to make the most of the extra time and pitch to an appropriate publication parenting websites, for example, or somewhere appropriate to the main focus of your piece (such as a crafting site or magazine if your ideas revolve around things to make). If your suggestions are lowcost or nocost activities then so much the better – plenty of families are looking for tips on how to do more but spend less.
