Encourage explorers

Editors Corie and Sean Weaver are reading for the 2019 Young Explorer’s Adventure Guide. Now in its fifth year, this popular anthology series aims to encourage a love of reading science fiction with well-written, fun to read stories for 8-12 year olds. Published by US based Dreaming Robot Press, previous volumes have included tales by such leading writers as Eric Choi and Nancy Kress.

Your story should feature a diverse set of believable characters, and can be any form of science fiction, but with an emphasis on adventure - rockets, space, robots, alien encounters, steampunk, time travel, alternative history, etc; no fantasy or horror. The editors particularly want stories with protagonists from traditionally underrepresented groups – girls, people of colour and differently abled people.
