Cash crisis as Campbeltown Bread Company ceases trading CAMPBELTOWN’S prestige bakery has ceased trading and the company’s staff have all been laid off.

The Campbeltown Bread Company, owned by Campbell McIlchere, is the latest firm in the town to be hit by the recession in Britain.

The firm’s demise is the second crash for the bakery in 10 years.
