WEE ISLE Dairy products from Tarbert Farm, Gigha were promoted as one of the region’s best at the BBC Good Food Show at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre. Skipness Smokehouse also flew the flag for Argyll and Bute.
The producers came together as part of the Flavours of Argyll and Bute pavilion, sponsored by Argyll and Bute Council, to promote regional food and drink to consumers who visited the show from across the UK and beyond. Council leader Councillor Aileen Morton said: ‘The food and drink industry generates in the region of £340 million turnover every year for the local economy.’
