FUNDING from Tesco’s Bags of Help saw three organisations benefit from the charge on plastic bags.

Customers gave most votes to Castlehill primary’s playground project which was awarded £12,000; South Kintyre Development Trust will collect £10,000 for its Campbeltown Gateway scheme and Campbeltown Lawn Tennis Club’s Tennis for all was awarded £8,000.
