Chimney fire

CAMPBELTOWN fire station’s new recruits were tested with five call-outs.

On different dates there were: a chimney fire at Chiskan, a shed fire in Albyn Avenue, a blazing industrial skip on Shore Street at 4am, which was under control in half an hour, a false alarm at Lorne Campbell Court and a fire at a property on the B842, which fire fighters attended for about two hours.
