“This is a shot captured from my first ever drone - the humble Mavic Air - whilst out on a shoot at a Lincolnshire syndicate. The conditions were the hottest I have EVER filmed in, with temperatures reaching 36-degrees; it was unbearable at times and it’s fair to say the fishing was absolutely rubbish! ¶ I was getting some ‘establishing’ drone shots when I happened to notice a few fish in a bay so began to get some shots of them cruising about; it was shortly after when I came across this solitary fish. ¶ I love this shot as there is a bit of mystery about it; there are no features to give clues as to the whereabouts or the size of the fish, and it can just be enjoyed for what it is. I edited the photo in a way that I feel creates an ‘ocean like’ look, as if it could be in the middle of the Atlantic as opposed to the middle of Lincoln!”
