Riches from the rock underground
Italian band De De Lind started out as a beat band in the late 60s, and released a string of singles before this progressive monster of an album in 1972. It has one of the longest album titles in the history of prog (translated into English it reads: ‘I don’t know where I’m coming from and I don’t know where I will go to. Man is the name I was given’) and is considered by many aficionados of the Italian scene to be a masterpiece. The musicianship and atmosphere on display are pure class.
