Dark times may produce serious music, but these bombastic Berliners do sombre introspection in their own uniquely maximalist way. They arrive in Coventry wearing Wagnerian superhero costumes – ghostly monk, disco sex robot, Viking warlord etc – like a magnificent porno-metal version of the Village People.
