Skam
London Camden The Black Heart
DIY Leicester power trio reach for the stars.
Skam have been ‘up-and-coming’ for over a decade. They’ve churned out a neat arsenal of bangers, written an admirably reckless concept album, and generally shot for the Moon in a manner rivalled by few of their NWOCR peers. What they lack in stats and sales, they make up for in songs and affably down-to-earth showmanship – two things that, on the strength of tonight, they’re not short on.
