Lemmy statue erected, new Sabbath mural on the way.
Astatue of Lemmy Kilmister has been unveiled in the late Motörhead leader’s home town of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. The 2.25m-high bronze-cast statue was created by sculptor and Motörhead fan Andy Edwards. Located in the town centre’s Market Place, it portrays Lemmy as he appeared at the Heavy Metal Holocaust in Port Vale in 1981.
