Apple is launching two new versions of its AirPod earbuds, which are cheaper alternatives to its AirPods Pro 2 (£229 from www.snipca.com/52458). The two new versions are pretty much identical, but only the £179 version offers active noise cancellation (ANC). If you tend to mostly use these at home in a quiet environment, the cheaper pair (£129) will be adequate for your needs. If you typically wear them out and about on trains or in busy streets, we’d recommend ANC.
