In the four years I’ve been writing this column, I’ve tried my best to keep the content fresh. Covering the same old software is even less interesting than reading about it, so I’ve endeavoured not to repeat myself and give my boss an excuse to replace me with ChatGPT (see our cover feature on page 50).
This issue is no exception, though the theme may seem familiar. Back in Issue 680, I wrote about a program called CoTweaker, which claimed to use AI to remove bloatware from Windows 10 and 11. It was previously called Bloatynosy, then BloatnosyAI and subsequently renamed Winpilot, before its developer discontinued it.
