Ghost writing
The Boox Go 6 is the latest ebook reader from Chinese manufacturer Onyx and is a direct rival to Amazon’s latest 6in Kindle (£95 from www.snipca. com/53137, reviewed in Issue 700).
It doesn’t try to break the mould of the classic ebook-reader design, with a slim, compact and lightweight build that makes it very portable. Despite this, it still feels robust, though it isn’t waterproof. For comparison, the basic Kindle also lacks this protection, but you do get it on the Kobo Clara BW (£120 from www.snipca.com/50981, reviewed in Issue 687) and the Kindle Paperwhite (£160 from www.snipca.com/52730, reviewed in Issue 698).
