Rusty the Snowman

BY MERYL SCHOENBAUM

WOULDN’T IT BE GREAT TO HAVE A SNOWMAN in front of your house at Christmastime to greet your family and holiday guests? Sure, but what happens if you don’t have any snow to build it with? You could do what Donna Williams did by thinking out of the box.

Donna is a blogger at Funky Junk Interiors (funkyjunkinteriors.net), where she shares decorating ideas using salvaged architecture through her tutorials. She also designs a line of Funky Junk’s Old Sign Stencils that offer easy ways to create vintage-inspired signs (funkyjunksoldsignstencils.com).

Donna loves to create all kinds of projects using reclaimed wood and salvaged metals, so when someone suggested she try using those materials to build snowmen, her creative spirit kicked into high gear.
