Paper Pippi

BIO: April based her shop’s name on this Pippi Longstocking quote: “The whole world is full of things, and somebody has to look for them. And that’s just what a Thing-Finder does.” April shares with us, “I appreciate the history and character of all things rusty and dusty and have always been a ‘Thing Finder,’ like the classic children’s book heroine Pippi Longstocking. My husband and I are long time collectors— we even went to auctions and estate sales on our dates as teenagers. In 2016, I started selling vintage wares, but at the time it seemed that paper ephemera was underappreciated and overlooked. I began Paper Pippi with the vision to inspire people to see these old pieces in a new light and use them in creative ways. Handmade journals, journal kits and carefully curated ephemera collections are a few of the ways I try to do that.”

HOW TO FIND PAPER PIPPI: On Instagram @paperpippi, where April lists items and collections, holds fl ash sales and shares slide decks of each product in detail. Many are handmade, one-ofa-kind creations that are scooped up quickly.
