“Ever since I was a little girl, autumn has been a special time for me – a time spent with my dad going on woodland walks, kicking the fallen leaves in the air, foraging for ripe blackberries to make jam, cracking hazelnuts in our teeth to nibble on. But my most vivid memory is seeing Fly Agaric for the first time… this classic fairytale toadstool with its distinctive red cap and white stalk always takes my breath away… and if I am lucky enough to see one hiding amongst the trees now, I still feel I have found a little bit of magic!”
