A clutch of gold brooches by Anglo-Italian jewellery designer Andrew Grima (1921- 2007) is among the highlights of a two-day sale at Charterhouse Auctions in Sherborne on August 23-24.
The brooches of both abstract and naturalistic forms are estimated to sell individually from £600-3000, with this 18ct gold brooch guided at £2000-3000. The group was collected by the owner in the 1960s and ‘70s and the items come in their original boxes.
