A sale of clocks and barometers at Scarborough saleroom David Duggleby on December 15 will include this mid-19th century Gothic style pierced brass strut clock, in the manner of the imaginative London clockmaker Thomas Cole.
The 6in (15cm) high timepiece was retailed by Howell, James & Co, the London jeweller and silversmith that operated between 1819-1911 from premises on Regent Street.
