hotcut is a flexible, powerful
and free video-editing tool that supports hundreds of audio and video formats, so it’s ideal for polishing videos shot on your phone or digital camera. The latest release (version 29.10) has a clever new subtitling tool, which uses AI to recognise speech in videos. This saves you from having to type a transcript when you want to add subtitles. You can also use the tool to produce a written transcript, which you can read at your leisure, or to help improve your video’s chances of being found in search results when you post it online.
