Mark key moments in your voice recordings
Voice Recorder (called Sound Recorder in Windows 11) is a brilliantly simple tool for recording what you say. One useful option is to add markers so you can easily jump to and play specific parts of your recording. It’s a good way to break up a long recording into shorter sections.
In Windows 10, search for and open Voice Recorder then press the microphone icon to start recording. To mark a point as you speak, click the ‘Add a marker’ flag icon below the recording button ( 1 in our screenshot left), or press Ctrl+M). Every marker you add will appear at the bottom
