Magnify a fixed part of your screen
Docked View in Windows Magnifier zooms in on a fixed section of the screen while keeping the rest visible. In our screenshot below we’ve magnified the notification area on the taskbar 1 . This is different to Lens View, which follows your cursor and magnifies the area beneath it.
Search for and open Magnifier, or press Windows key+plus sign. Now click the Settings cog 2 , then ‘Go to Settings’ and select Docked under ‘Choose a view’ 3 . You can also switch to Docked View when Magnifier is open using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+D.
