Make it easier to find your mouse cursor
Version 0.95 of PowerToys, released in October, adds transparency to the Find My Mouse tool. This makes the circle around the cursor partially or fully transparent, so you can locate your pointer without blocking what’s underneath.
Launch PowerToys then click ‘Input/ Output’ on the left and select ‘Mouse utilities’. Now turn on ‘Enable Find My Mouse’ ( 1 in our screenshot below) and set your preferred ‘Activation method’ that turns on the tool 2 . Next click ‘Appearance & behavior’ and move ‘Overlay opacity’ 3 to set the transparency. Choose higher opacity when you need to spot the cursor quickly, such as on multiple monitors or when giving presentations. Here, we’ve set the opacity to 75 4 .
