It’s been a pretty eventful couple of months since you last heard from me. We’ve had a few more rounds of the British Superstock Championship and I’ve been travelling round to spend a bit of time at the other side of the pit wall, too.
I feel like I’m in a much better place with the Kawasaki Superstock bike now; I was having some trouble getting used to the throttle connection, but we have got a really good setting now, so I feel like I can start fully getting to grips with riding a thou’. Donington was ok. I scored a few points in the two-part ‘endurance’ race, but I think I paced myself a little bit too much, if I’m honest. Sunday’s race was better though; it was wet and I finished ninth, which the team and I were fairly happy with. And I beat my twin brother Tom on his full-factory HRC Honda, too – he did come up with some excuse, but I’ve heard it all before with him!
