June's comprehensive 132-page FlyPast is a collector's souvenir edition comprising of both our regular mixture of features and news along with a one-off 25-page special focusing on Jets of World War Two. With the Collings Foundation's incredible Messerschmitt Me 262 gracing our cover, we look at how the Luftwaffe used these state-of-the-art jets in combat, plus Russian plans for jet power and how Britain's World War Two Gloster Meteor was put to good use tackling V-1 flying bombs. Legendary test pilot Eric 'Winkle' Brown describes his experience of flying Heinkel's jet interceptor, the He126, and more.

MESSERSCHMITT SPOTLIGHT
One of the most famous and successful single-seat fighters ever built, our colourful 22-page Spotlight section shines on the fabled German Messerschmitt Bf 109. We compare it to its rivals, and profile several 'aces' that flew it.

YAKS UP HIGH
Richard Paver profiles a smart pair of UK-based Yak C-11 warbirds, with stunning air-to-air photography.

GLORY DAYS – USAAF
Images of the USAAF at Duxford during the war, and the story behind Eagle Squadron, a Duxford-based warbird formation team that recently paid homage to US airmen.

SEAFIRE
Acclaimed display pilot John Beattie talks about flying the jewel in Kennet Aviation's crown – the Supermarine Seafire XVII.

BETWEEN HELL AND HIGH WATER
Stories from World War Two aircrew from their training and 'ops' during their so-called 'rest' tours as instructors.

Plus, we visit museums in Oregon, go behind the scenes of a well known aircraft paint expert, examine the dangerous work of 'Cold War' RF-101 Voodoo pilots, and bring you news of a Grumman Hellcat flying again, the arrival of B-17 'Swamp Ghost' at its new home, and an exclusive on Biggin Hill's vast range of airworthy Spitfires and Hurricanes. Don't miss this one!

Digital subscription for Flypast magazine

I have purchased the Flypast magazine for many years and generally as a hard copy. However, for the last couple of years l have subscribed annually to the digital version and now read on my iPad.
The magazine is great and I always find the content interesting and varied and never bored with the topics covered. Whilst previously enjoying the hard copy l am now a devoted digital subscriber and would recommend this version. On the downside you miss out on add ons such as calendars etc.
