Using Continuity
Bridge the gap between your iPhone and Mac
CONTINUITY IS AN umbrella term for a series of features that let you work seamlessly across Apple devices. In macOS Tahoe, Continuity brings the Mac and the iPhone closer together with a brand new Phone app coming to Apple’s computers.
This means that as well as making Continuity phone calls — something we’ve been able to do since OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) and iOS 8 — you can also peruse lists of recent calls, check voicemails, access Contacts, and more. The information is, of course, synced from your iPhone, so long as the Mac and the iPhone are signed into the same Apple Account. It’s easy to set up.
