A recent perusal of MiniWorld with some colleagues, who work on other Kelsey Media titles, came up with a few keywords to describe the mag's content. One word that kept coming up was 'family'. Of course I was delighted as, to me, family is key to the Mini community. It's not unusual to find
generations of Mini fans, or a child who is restoring a Mini with a parent, or a family group camping at a Mini show. For those who have grown up with Minis then the cars themselves become part of the family. Even being part of a Mini club can be like gaining new relatives of all ages. The owner of this issue's cover car, Lucy MacKenzie, has fond memories of her mother's Mini Cooper, as well as some that are not so fond, and chose to get the Mini restored so that she and husband William can enjoy many adventures with it for years to come.
