A recent perusal of MiniWorld with some colleagues, who work on other Kelsey Media titles, came up with a few keywords to describe the mag's content. One word that kept coming up was 'family'. Of course I was delighted as, to me, family is key to the Mini community. It's not unusual to find
generations of Mini fans, or a child who is restoring a Mini with a parent, or a family group camping at a Mini show. For those who have grown up with Minis then the cars themselves become part of the family. Even being part of a Mini club can be like gaining new relatives of all ages. The owner of this issue's cover car, Lucy MacKenzie, has fond memories of her mother's Mini Cooper, as well as some that are not so fond, and chose to get the Mini restored so that she and husband William can enjoy many adventures with it for years to come. To continue with the family theme, check out our interview with the Mylchreest family, Mini fans who owned dealerships selling Minis on the Isle of Man from 1959 to 2000. Don't miss Tim Mundy's article on preparing a Mini workshop and see the progress on our project cars. There are also some more fantastic feature Minis including Aidan McGrath's Suzuki-engined 1275GT, Martin Ridge's fab Pick-up and Shoichiro Nagai’s injection Rover Mini – his father and son project didn't work out quite as he'd planned... As the weather grew hotter in June and July, many people headed for Mini and classic car events so see if your Mini was photographed by us in the show review section, which starts on page 96. I hope you enjoy the issue.

Just getting back into the Mini experience after 40 years or so away. I love the magazine so far, lots of variety . I have only gotten into a few issues but I feel like it will get even better the more of them I read.
Thank you.
