Another exciting announcement from Accurascale revealed that the CDA china clay hopper is soon to be available in original ECC blue livery. Released in 2022, Accurascale’s initial CDA release was limited to EWS and DB liveries, but the ever-popular English China Clay branding will cater for modellers of the 1980s-early 2000s era.
The wagon tooling has been designed to reflect a mix of prototypes, including those built new as CDAs, as well as those converted from existing HAA coal hoppers. Offered in the usual three-pack form, the wagon packs will be priced at £79.95, with 10% off if ordering two or more packs direct from the Accurascale website. The models are due to arrive in Q3 2024 and pre-orders are being taken now.
