Yes, in the midst of all the frenzied buying and selling, Christmas is once again upon us and shoppers everywhere are looking for that special gift. At this time of the year ‘gifts and giving’ go hand-in-hand in a very special way.
Few shoppers, however, will appreciate that the theme of giving is prominent throughout the Bible, with such words as give, gift and gave appearing more than 2,000 times. God’s outstretched hand has been giving generously, and liberally ever since.
