AT ABOUT 4pm on Monday January 15, in the The Original Factory Shop in Oban, a man aged 36th allegedly attempted to steal some items. Police attended and the man was detained. He was later arrested and charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
BETWEEN 1pm on Monday January 15 and 2.50pm on Friday January 19, within a car park at the Old Crofters Yard, Soroba Road, Oban, a black Volkswagen Passat motor car was damaged by having the bodywork dented and scratched by another vehicle. The driver failed to report the incident. Police are investigating and are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them.
AT ABOUT 12.40am on Saturday January 20, in Airds Place, Oban, a woman aged 37 behaved in a disorderly manner in a licensed premises and assaulted a member of bar staff. Police attended and the woman assaulted two officers and resisted arrest. The woman was arrested and charged with the offences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
