A CONTROVERSIAL building plan faced councillors at Kilmory yesterday (Wednesday January 24).
Deputy Lord Lieutenant Graham Mac- Queen was hoping councillors would not order the demolition of a recreational hut he built without permission for his disabled wife, near the famous Bridge over the Atlantic. The plan attracted 114 letters of support and 15 of objection. Planning officers have maintained their recommendation to reject the proposal, despite errors in an earlier report and claims from Mrs MacQueen that she was being discriminated against.
