Myhusband Paul (Psychologies garden editor) has been sharing his trials and triumphs, expertly guided by the gardening team at Weleda, over these past 12 months. We’ve had glorious pickings –from nettles and brambles to calendula and camomile –from our little local allotment plot in Kent, as he’s immersed himself in learning more and more about the rhythms and rituals of biodynamic farming: a system that is so innately and wholly respectful of the shifts in our seasons, cycles and selves.
As the series comes to a close, there’s no sense of an ending… what has been planted within us will ever-bloom, as the lessons we’ve learned are now deeply rooted in how we have chosen to live, grow, eat – intrinsically mirroring these natural cycles and wisdom (and all of this we’ll continue to share with you, from next month, in our new column: Balanced by Nature).
