It’s been sitting on a shelf since March 2020, but the only screening offered for NO TIME TO DIE (out now) was two days before release, so our verdict will have to wait. Next up: animated sequel THE ADDAMS FAMILY 2 (9 October). As we went to press there’d been a “Fans First” screening of VENOM: LET THERE BE CARNAGE (15 October). to ensure gushing on social media, but none for critics. Guess mags come second. Seeing out the month: a-kid-and-his-bot tale RON’S GONE WRONG (22 October) and horror ANTLERS (29 October), in which a boy is keeping a creature in his house.
