The ferry Denia Ciutat Creativa on her regular service arriving at Algeciras from Tangier Med on 12 April 2024. Built in 1992 at Van der Giessen-de Noord, as the ro-ro cargo ship Via Ligure for Viamare di Navigazione, she was converted in 1994 to carry passengers and renamed Ionian Star for Strintzis Lines. In 1999 she was renamed Scandola for Compagnie Meridionale de Navigation (CMN). In 2016 she was sold to Balearia Eurolineas and is now named Denia Ciutat Creativa.
