A Celebration of Summer!
Welcome to our June/July issue, where we celebrate summer in all its richness, warmth and vibrant detail. This is the season where everything comes into its own, full of colour, texture and life, and this issue brings together a collection of pieces that showcase that abundance in different and beautiful ways.
On our cover, Nicola Tapper’s stunning stumpwork butterfly lifts from the fabric with remarkable dimension. Continuing the theme of nature in full flourish, Oksana Balanovska’s intricate thread-painted honeybee is a true marvel, a piece that beautifully captures the spirit of summer, while Katherine Savage’s hand embroidered fresh summer fruits feel almost good enough to eat, bursting with colour and vitality.
