Welcome to your first Teddybear Times & Friends for 2025. I hope you have spent some enjoyable time with family and friends (furry or human!) over the festive season and you are now looking forward to the new year.
I know some people don’t enjoy the Christmas holiday period at all, for a variety of reasons, so I hope this issue will bring some joy to you as you browse through the pages and meet teddy bears old and new, plus a whole array of other critters.
I recently read an interesting review of a book which encouraged us all to embrace the seasons at any time of year, just as nature does. Knowing when to be active and extremely productive, but also when it is time to slow down, to rest and recuperate a little. I think our teddy bears would whisper these wise words to us, don’t you? Their real life bear cousins are very good at managing the seasons!
One bear well known for his very wise words, Winnie-the-Pooh, is due to celebrate a very special anniversary later this year…but more about that to follow. In the meantime, our gallery pages are dedicated to Pooh and a few of his friends. We had a lot of rabbits sent in…but you know what they say about rabbits…
