Who am I?’ is a profound question. Our mind often resists asking that question because the answer can be destabilising. But being true to who you are and living authentically reveals something about what it is to be human. Our brains are connected and adapt according to our social conditioning. We are in a sense hard-wired into the planet upon which we live and the people we share it with. That connection, without asking the question, “Who am I?” can lead to conformity and an Orwellian style society, but if we are brave enough and ask it and act upon it, it can lead to a beautifully diverse human race.
