It’s hard to ignore that vegan junk food is becoming more abundant by the day. It’s great that we are finally being given bigger spaces on menus, are able to go out for comfort food with non-vegan friends or family, and that we can pick up a speedy meal when we need to. But, is this onslaught of vegan junk food a bad thing? Sometimes, when you’re out and about, you crave fruit, veg and nutrient-packed food, but very often, it’s hard to source such a meal. Are these new ‘dirty vegan’ launches making it more difficult to find nutritious food on the go, putting the focus on unhealthy products? Or, is it merely a brilliant way to show meat-eaters that being vegan doesn’t mean missing out, encouraging them too, to join the movement? We asked for your thoughts.
