The 2016 Benjamin Franklin House Literary Prize is inviting entries by writers aged 18-25 exploring the relevance in our time of a quote from Franklin.
The winning writer will receive £750, and the runner-up will receive £500. Both winning entries will be posted online by media partner The Telegraph and Benjamin Franklin House.
This year’s quote is: ‘Light often arises from a collision of opinions, as fire from flint and steel.’
