Canon unveils EOS R6
Canon’s first launch during lockdown releases another full-frame mirrorless camera and four new lenses into the wild
While the EOS R5 may have received all the headlines and attention ahead of going on sale at the end of July, the R6 has revealed itself as more interesting for stills shooters than its video-centric 8K sibling. And the fact that both cameras were officially unveiled alongside four new RF lenses, including an 800mm f/11, means that Canon’s mirrorless programme is running at full tilt.

Other headline features include in-body image stabilisation, an AF working range of down to -6.5 EV (just pipping the R5), oversampled 4K video up to 60p 10-bit and Full HD up to 120fps.
