Whether you want to boost colours or change them completely, the Hue/ Saturation command is one of the most useful colour controls Photoshop has on offer. Initially, it may seem rather basic, but delve deeper and you’ll find a wealth of excellent options that give you a fine degree of control over colours in your photos. What’s more, the options become even greater when we use the feature as an Adjustment Layer, as this opens up all sorts of possibilities with layers, blend modes and masking – especially if you use the command in combination with Photoshop’s array of AI-powered selection tools.
