If there’s one thing that can really make a difference to your photo, it’s increasing the contrast. What’s contrast, I hear you say? In I a nutshell, adding contrast deepens the darker areas of the photo and brightens the lighter areas. Reducing the contrast does the opposite and makes everything look greyer. There’s another word you can use for low contrast – flat. And who wants their images to look flat?
