When I meet a queer woman and they find out what I do for a living, it’s not long before they’re telling me the story of their first time. Not that first time, you dirty bugger – the first time they bought DIVA.
Young or old, a decorated veteran or fresh out of the closet, it seems we all remember it well. These stories are all different – a chance discovery in a local newsagent, or a gift from a gay auntie – but I love them all the same.
